New workshops for 2017
Fairy tales speak the language of the unconscious psyche, and we can learn and benefit from the messages they convey. We’ll be looking at Grimms’ The Goose Girl, a tale of the sometimes painful journey from naiveté to wisdom, of the unconscious becoming conscious.
In The Goose Girl, a protected princess is brought low when she encounters the wide world. Her ‘shadow' aspects take over, and she learns to access her intuition, deeper instincts and cunning to survive. Over the weekend we will explore the story's universal themes and discover how personal resonances can resource us in our own lives.
Atula and David bring their fabled blend of safety, provocation and depth in group work; while Nagamudra adds his dramatherapy skills in embodied imagination and movement to bring the tale alive.
